Black and White Services

Alterman Studios offers Custom Black and White Darkroom Services by Herb. He has over 20 years experience working in the industry. Herb will process your film and print a contact sheet for you to make a selection for printing. The negatives are printed by hand on Ilford Resin Coated (RC) paper and processed in trays. Your images can be dodged, burned, and cropped to your specifications on either matte or glossy paper. Printing antique Black and White negatives are Herbs speciality.

Copy Service

Artwork can be framed or unframed. We shoot 35mm color slides or a high resolution digital file, color balanced and sized to your specifications. Both the high resolution file and a small resolution file will be burned to a CD or DVD.

Digital Services

Alterman Studios can scan 35mm slides, 120 or 4 x 5 color transparencies and color or black & white negatives. We also are able to scan your favorite photograph up to 8 x 10. Images will be burned to a CD or printed. All printing is done on the Epson 9600 or the Epson 4000. We use Epson UltraChrome Inks and heavyweight archival paper to produce high quality prints up to 44" wide.
